need some info about the alternative cd

Hi, has any accessibility been added to the alternative CD.
If so how do you start the screen reader.
 Also has anyone installed the feisty live CD lately.
I am still having a problem after picking the keyboard everything blows up very large on the screen and it seems to crash.
