Following a suggestion from Gilles, here's a revised makefile that
should compile all three: speak, libespeak.so.1.1.18, and espeak.

Also, if you then do:
  sudo make install

then it should put libespeak and its links into /usr/lib and put espeak
into /usr/bin.
