Filling out forms

I know there is a tool for KDE called Kooka. I'm not sure about GNOME
though. You are looking for ORC tools, (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_character_recognition), maybe Synaptic
can help you track some down. Let me know if this helps,
