Problem with my project when a11y is enabled

Sorry if this isn't exactly the right place for this, but I have been
scouring the internet all day for a solution to this, and haven't found a
thing. I'm hoping that someone on this list may be able to provide some
insight.

I'm working on a project in PyGTK, and one of my users has filed a bug.
When Assistive Technology is enabled in Gnome, my program will not start.
With a11y enabled, however, it starts just fine. This bug is only confirmed
on an older version of my program. I can only get a11y working on feisty,
and the SVN build won't work on feisty yet due to some dbus issues.

Anyways, with a11y enabled, the program starts up fine, and the console
output suggests that everything is going fine. However, once the window is
drawn, it hangs and the process has to be killed.

Another problem is that I can't get a11y working on edgy, so I can't test
this bug on the latest version of my program. With a11y enabled, Gnome sort
of hangs half way through logging in.

I literally don't have the faintest idea what is going on, but I need to
find out. Some distributions are beginning to enable a11y by default, which
means that my program flat out won't run on them.

If anyone here has even an idea of how to go about fixing this, but doesn't
want to clutter this list any more than necessary, feel free to just email
me directly, I will be deeply grateful.

Zach
