It would, but to be fair to all, we would need to get software speech 
working somehow. That in itself will be a VERY big challenge, due to the 
wy d-i starts up with asking about language/keyboard/country first, and 
then tries looking for the CD-ROM.

Maybe the d-i specialists might have some ideas. I do have it in mind as 
a spec, which I hope to get written up soon. As it is already, I have 
written a little about speakup and d-i in my speakup inclusion spec:
