head tracker using webcam

Hello list.

Recently I have seen several proyects which have developed a driver to control
the pointer in a window system. The particularity of those drivers is that they
use a webcam to track de movement of the head of the user. So people with
movility impairments can use the movement of their heads instead of a
hand-controlled-mouse.

The problem is they all are only for windows and closed-source. So my question
is: do you known of any equivalent proyect open-source ?
