Yes, so far as I know, these patches have now been applied as of beta 2 
last week.

The Orca team is working with the community to resolve the 
gnome-terminal and openoffice problems.  I have been able to use gnome 
panel with out problems.  Rather, it seems at least as good as it was in 
gnome 2.14.
