no sound when selecting screen reader.

Hello Henrik,

i'm not sure whether this has already been logged, or where issues like this should best be reported.

I am using today's build of the live cd, and on two separate machines, if I select to use the screen reader, I get no sound at all, no speech and no system sounds.  I'm not sure whether system events are just not playing, or whether drivers for the audio hardware aren't being properly loadded.
