You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Binary package hint: vim-gtk
This applies to all graphical Vims: vim-gtk, vim-gnome, vim-full, when
run in graphical mode (-g switch) or as gvim.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open a terminal such as gnome-terminal.
2) Start vim, e.g.:
$ vim-gtk -g
3) Type something in the vim buffer.
Result:
For every keystroke, you get the following message:
** (vim.gtk:24339): WARNING **: failure: no device event controller
found.
