[u-a-dev] [Bug 90172] FTDI (USB Serial) failure. Possibly HAL related

Public bug reported:

I have two USB -> RS232 adapters which I want to use in Linux.
The first one (unsure about brand) works perfectly fine, but the other one doesn't.

The device /dev/ttyS0 will be created and then removed with 5 second intervals.
Relative dmesg and lsusb output as follows:

This might be relative: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.20/+bug/81915 but it's "Fixed".
