[u-a-dev] Orca best on Ubuntu or Xubuntu?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to install Ubuntu on a 256 Mb RAM 800MHz laptop, and I am a
beginner.   Should I seriously consider Xubuntu if my plan is to use Orca,
Open Office, Evolution, and GAIM?

The reason I ask is that I always see Orca discussed on Gnome, and I am not
sure how much less stable and usable it might be on XFCE, given how seldom
that is mentioned.
