I installed 0.11.1-1ubuntu3 from jammy-proposed and the snap[5] in a
Jammy virtual machine, logged out, logged in, opened Pavucontrol, ran

  snap run --shell geheim
  XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/run/user/1000 spd-say hi

and verified that the volume indicator in Pavucontrol moved right after
issuing the command.
