I'm Not 100% sure it's the same issue but there are many similarities to
the original issue.
My issue only happens after after I try to wake the laptop from sleep.
What I've been encountering:
1. Boot computer, boot proceeds normally, can log-in, all is good.
2. Suspend laptop
3. On wake, just see the pink "Ubuntu 19.10" background. Cursor works and can be moved around, can click on upper right tool bar menu (with battery/wifi/etc) but nothing else seems to work if I click on items. Looks like wifi connection is successful.
4. Switching TTY with ctrl+alt+F1 works andthen a normal login screen appears where I can successfully log in.
5. Sometimes (but not always) I'm prompted for password saying, "Authentication required to refresh system repositories".
I'm happy to open up a new bug if that makes more sense and these
issues are unrelated.
