Thanks for reporting the bug and providing a patch.

The patch you provided works, but instead of using it I fixed the
underlying issue so all languages can be detected as well.

On the next Debian update to the package the fix will be published and
eventually it will reach Ubuntu as well (I do not have permissions to
upload packages by myself).
