marmuta, what exactly needs to be set for the lock screen to work? Is it
gsettings, lightdm.conf, some other file?

I'd like to test what circumstances the onscreen keyboard still won't
show on the lock screen, because it should always show if
org.gnome.desktop.a11y.applications screen-keyboard-enabled is turned
on.
