  * Merge with Debian; remaining changes:
    - Build from the upstream source.

binutils (2.24-2) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Update from the 2.24 branch, 20131209.
  * Remove versioned build dependencies which are not needed anymore
    since 2005.
  * Drop the ld_system_root patch.
  * Fix PowerPC64 linking of --just-symbols objects (Alan Modra).
