FYI, on my request Launchpad added a new "Code admin" role to its
distribution model, and using my TB powers I've changed this from unset
to ~git-ubuntu-import.
This is to skip the current manual step required before a git-ubuntu
repository becomes available for a new source package.
It will allow the importer to set the default repository target for
repositories corresponding to new source package uploads directly,
instead of having to wait for a core dev (usually me, Bryce or Andreas)
to do it manually.
I believe that there's no other implication for this change since it was
unset before, and created specifically for git-ubuntu to solve this
issue, but thought it appropriate to mention that I've taken this
action.
See https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/1992500 for details.
Implementation in the git-ubuntu importer will be next.
With thanks to Guruprasad, Colin and William for helping me with this.
Robie
