Expiring Membership of DMB members

We have 5 memberships expiring on Wednesday which would leave the board
with 2 members.  Would it be possible to extended the memberships that
are expiring by 1 month so that we can have time for an election and
still be able to conduct business for the next month and be able to
certify the results after the election?
