gthumb follow up in ubuntu baseline request or MRE

Dear Ubuntu technical board,The current version of gThumb in the Ubuntu
baseline is 3.0.2 which is more than a year old. But gThumb is still
actively developed and maintained.

The problem is the gThumb 3.0.2 doesn't work well in Ubuntu 13.10 Beta
because of a change in GTK+. This issue, of course, doesn't appear this the
last version 3.2.3 released this last august.

Is there a way to see gThumb correctly followed by the Ubuntu baseline? Or
accepted for the MRE?
