Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you on this.  It seems to have
fallen through the cracks between our regular meetings.

Looking at the bug, it appears that this has already gone to the SRU team
and received some comment.  Is there a need for the technical board to get
involved at this point?  Usually the SRU team makes these kinds of decisions
autonomously, and only escalates to the tech board in exceptional
circumstances.

It looks like the confusion may be related to MicroReleaseExceptions.  I've
added a comment to the bug which I hope explains better.  Let me know if you
need anything further.
