Hello,

I have some ideas for Ubuntu mailing list, I think it's really exciting and will provide
a great way of productivity on Ubuntu.

1. ubuntu-code-discuss - discussion on source codes found on ubuntu source
repository, and also other distributions like fedora, suse, etc.
I think this is a great tool for Ubuntu developers, and also casual developers
who intend to modify the codes for their own interest.
For example, someone wants to port the GUI SELinux tool and Xen Virtual Manager tool from Fedora to Ubuntu, and would like to discuss about the codes, standards, optimizations (
i.e. DT_GNU_HASH).

2. ubuntu-research-and-development - discussion of Fun projects and stuff, where developers can collaborate on research of specific technology and applications, like community created projects, for the sake of R&D.

3. Ubuntu Developer Kit - a distribution for developers and wanna be developers where it contains virtually every possible development tools, libraries and compilers,
to start developing, programming, bug fixing, ... [insert developer jobs here], etc, or for the sake of research and learning purposes.

4. ubuntu-custom - discussion for customizing Ubuntu, and to get started customizing Your-own-Ubuntu-based-distribution [tm] like Ubuntu-CE, etc.

I think those are really exciting ideas, and examples on how to make Ubuntu more fun and productive! :-)
