<div>Sure. But there curently is a gateway for the ubuntu-users mailing list. Despite the technical problems, forums users and mailing list users often mix just fine. </div>

<div>If I were king of Ubuntu, there would be such a gateway for many more of the mailing lists such as the sounder and ubuntu-doc. Most forums users don't know what the sounder is. Many don't even know what the fridge is.
