I didn't know.
<br><br>There is now zero chance of me buying an ipod until that changes.<br><br>I used to do my homework before buying hardware that was compatible with linux. Now, I just shop at the stores where I can just ask the salespeople whether this will work with linux or not, and to what degree. I have returned hardware that did not work with linux and I let the store know exactly why I was returning it. Had I bough an Ipod and found out it couldn't handle ogg, I would have returned it too, in the same way.
