I know what you mean. Not sure I could run with such a thing full time.

But I just love the idea of a modern Linux that looks like NeXTstep.
And ideally works a bit like it, too. And since NeXT was Unix
underneath, I know no better candidate than Ubuntu.

Failing that, I want it to work like Acorn RISC OS - but from
discussions with Acorn fans, they hate all the /usr/this and /etc/that
and so on, so I thought I'd put off that one 'til stage 2 and base it
on GoboLinux and the ROX desktop. ;¬)
