Yes, he is advocating technical measures to protect IP. You do have a
technical measure (lock) to protect your office, don't you? The fact
that past, Windows-based DRM have been a failure and a problem does
not mean that a new approach is destined to the same fate. In fact,
this could be a selling point for Linux: DRM that does not interfere
with the user experience, yet effectively protects IP.
