I've got a few boxen with similar specs. Awesome tools for testing new
distributions, and also application testing.
But for main workhorse? Depends on your usage. If there's lots of compiling,
graphics-heavy games etc., then yes.

Thanks for the heads-up on Peppermint, will have to check it out one of these
days, when I get all those afore-mentioned boxen up and running again (recently
moved to a new house, and my study isn't ready yet.)
