Let me pick at random:
buzztard, a modular music composer:

mlock, a mailbox locking program:

provided by the Ubuntu community.

I see that you didn't do your homework before espousing an incorrect
opinion.  Perhaps you could read before speaking about things of which
you know less than you could.
