Ar har har ;-) x264's objections are technical. Greg Maxwell said they
weren't unfair, but that VP8 would develop quickly - it hasn't had all
the tricks applied to the encoder that Theora has, for example.

HOW TERRIBLY SAD. Apple will just have to compete by making really
nice hardware.
