I recall that Fedora 9 was a disaster after which Redhat specifically 
hired people to get involved in Fedora to prevent a recurrence. 
Community stuff can be really horrendous if not managed properly. 
Fedora, Ubuntu and Gentoo have all suffered from poor management at one 
time or another. You just have to know when...
