This is an Ubuntu offtopic mail list where you cannot get off topic with 
such bitchiness as being displayed above!

As I recognise that a number of posters and lurkers here are/were also 
members of another offtopic mail list, I would like to remind those 
personages of the following offer which was made last March and which 
has no restrictive conditions on who can participate; "Everyone is 
welcome." - except for foul-mouthed lowlifes, which would preclude one 
person currently on this Sounder):

as a "haven" for waifs cast adrift on the Internet Seas.  It's also
Popeye the Sailor Man's hometown, and I really, against all reason,
