Smaller than I've experienced recently. I think the full driver set
for my printer weighs in at around 150MB

Nothing like it. But they aren't comparable. The HP Windows drivers
tend to bundle lots of additional software in the package, so it's not
just a driver in the traditional sense

You might be able to use the ppd files from the open source driver
with windows somehow, never tried though.
