When you consider that the Romans created the Sahara by cutting down the forests in N. Africa and various disasters were caused by various volcanos.  History is full of interesting climate change stories :-) . . .

No, I only lack _real_ proof.  You know, something that can be examined
by anybody, even unbelievers, and they will come up with the same
conclusions.  If what you have are truly facts they will be
incontrovertible as is the 'theory' of gravitation.

Local droughts.  Not exactly world-shaking climate change.  Plus, some
doubt that as a real reason for their disappearance.

Local resource depletion.  Not exactly world-shaking, either.
Neither can be attributed to _climate_change_ by itself, nor even at
all.  There are differing theories about each demise.
