Now I have to do:
* reply all
* cut
* paste
* delete
while I usually just do:
* reply to list
I think that the only solution will be to dive into the man page of
formail and find out how I can mangle the list headers myself, for example
add a List-Post header. But isn't that a bit drastic?
I _could_ add another procmail rule that moves mail with sounder in CC to
.linux.ubuntu.sounder/ So because of you, I will have to change
:0:
* ^(List-Id|To):.*sounder.*lists\.ubuntu\.com
.linux.ubuntu.sounder/
to
:0:
* ^(List-Id|To|Cc):.*sounder.*lists\.ubuntu\.com
.linux.ubuntu.sounder/
But that only solves half of the problem. You may not know this, but I
already have this in my .procmailrc:
:0 Wh: msgid.lock
| formail -D 8192 msgid.cache
(verbatim from the procmailrc man page)
The result is that I only get exactly one copy of the email that you sent
me twice.
Because your direct mail arrives first, the mail sent by the mailing list
(with all the good mail headers that I rely on for reply-to-list) will be
dropped.
I really hate it that I have to make my config files idiot proof. I like
to keep them short, clean and simple.
For the record: I'm not calling you an idiot, it's just a figure of
speech. Blame my bad Engrish if you want.
In short:
I DON'T BLOODY CARE HOW YOU SEND YOUR EMAIL, WITH FRAKKING TELNET TO PORT
25 FOR ALL I CARE, BUT SEND IT TO THE LIST ONLY!!!
