What our foreign friends on Sounder need to understand is that people
on the far right-wing political spectrum in the United States hate
this country.

They hate our freedoms, they hate the Constitution, and especially
hate our President because he isn't White. The whole "Birther"
movement is just a smoke screen for racial hate. They think they have
us fooled but the majority of American's know better.

They hate America because the freedoms we have here apply to
"everyone" rather than just them alone. They call proposals for
legislation that will benefit the people and improve the economy
"socialism" or "Nazism" because it doesn't support the big
corporations who donate millions to their campaign funds.

They hate that everyone has the right to believe in another religion
besides Christianity or no religion at all, they hate equality for
minorities and women, and they especially hate equality for
homosexuals. During the Bush Era they "actually believed" that they
could report Atheists to the FBI and have them deported because they
believed being an Atheist revokes your US citizenship. They actually
believed that and still do to this day!

They hate people who don't agree with their ideals, their way of life,
and their beliefs. The majority of them claim to be Born Again
Christians, but through their actions and words they prove how much a
lie that is. At the same time they thumping the Bible they're
thumping their mistresses. They demonstrate none of the compassion
for others which is the most important tenant of the Christian faith.

Right-wing propaganda outlets like Fox News routinely traffic in lies
designed to frighten and/or enrage people of the ultra-conservative
persuasion. They play on their fears of the government, their fear of
other religions, and their fear and hatred for minorities on a daily
basis. The latest one from Glenn Beck involves OnStar, go look it up
via Google that's all I'll say.

Their ranks have infiltrated and taken control of the Republican Party
in the United States. They go out of their way to support legislation
and policy changes which benefit big business, which rewards them with
huge campaign fund contributions, but these laws and policies
ultimately hurt consumers and the economy. They tore down the laws
which were meant to prevent the economic disaster the US is in right
now.

They call on citizens of the United States to rise up in violent
opposition to the government, they call for secession from the United
States, and they call for people to take up arms and overthrow the
government.

This is the insanity our government is facing right now and is trying
to clean up, but its an uphill battle with a political party that
refuses to play nice and compromise fairly and intelligently like
adults.

Already there are liberals and moderates in the Republican Party,
those few that the conservative members haven't thrown out of the
party, are loosing their patience with the self-destructive direction
the party is headed. The damage they are doing to their own political
party will take "generations" to mend, if at all.

In all likelihood the Republican Party will eventually break apart,
with the liberals and moderates of the party forcing out the
conservatives. The right-wing conservatives will loose their voice in
the government and end up being on the lunatic fringe once against
like they were when all of this shit started.

This is the wondrous legacy left behind for us by George W. Bush, Dick
Chaney, and many past Republican Presidential administrations. Be
thankful you aren't Americans, because its going to be decades before
we finally clean up this mess and get things back in order.
