Because the ultra-conservative Religious Right in this country are
batshit crazy, Glenn Beck watching, Rush Limbaugh listening hypocrites
who call anyone with an opposing opinion to their own either a Nazi, a
Socialist, a Terrorist, or an Atheist. They actually "believe" that
Atheists don't have the right to be citizens of the United States and
that reporting them to the FBI will get them deported or jailed. I
kid you not, they actually believe that. They think its perfectly
"OK" to pray for the death of the President, to oppose health care
reforms which will actually save them money and might save their
lives. and to rewrite the Bible because the King James translation has
too much "Liberal Bias" (I'm not shitting you, they're actually doing
this).

One of our political parties (the Republican Party aka the GOP) has
been overrun by these unhinged, fanatical lunatics. Their getting
worse now that they don't have a majority in Congress anymore and
things will eventually come to a head. Before all of this shit is
finally put to rest there will undoubtedly be bloodshed. Some nutbar
fanatic who watched one too many Glenn Beck shows on Fox News will go
loony and think he's on some mission from God and do something
seriously stupid. Its not a matter of it, but when. This is a matter
of very real concern, I live just minutes from Capital Hill. If
anything is going to happen it'll happen there. I mean, some crazy
from Maine last year was preparing a Dirty Bomb for Obama's
Inauguration, but his wife shot him so he was never able to do the
deed but the had the parts and the nuclear material to make the
weapon.

Me and my friends are very seriously considering leaving the country
if it looks like things are going to go bad. No joke.
