Oooooh, could be! I was chatting to someone about this bug (why I was
still using 8.10 instead of 9.04, which otherwise appears quite usable
- as it should two months out) and he said it was avahi. So is it
fixed in current Kubuntu (not just Ubuntu) 9.04? I might give it
another go :-D
