Will the Avahi bug in 9.04 get nailed? That's the one that makes
Kubuntu such that Konqueror and ping can resolve DNS but Firefox and
(critically) apt-get can't. This question is apposite because Fedora
apparently went through the precise same problem six months ago. I
will switch to Fedora next if I have to (i.e. reasonably-maintained
KDE distro with the latest candy), but I'd rather not.
