I even have my phone number on the world wide wub (it's +44 7733 223
584, if anyone cares) and I basically get negligible numbers of idiot
calls. (The ones I do get are usually Wikipedia-related thus arguably
on-topic.) The closest I've had was late last year, when someone
Rickrolled me by phone. When you're famous on the Internet, your phone
is fine to have out there, strange but true.

(I pretty much always let it go to message anyway. The asynchronous
nature of email, that's the life for me. I only have IM at all because
it's built into Gmail.)
