Seconded. Or if you prefer

+1 for setting Reply-To: to the list.

If only because it will irritate all those annoying Debian purists who
get all arsey about RFCs and theoretical concepts and who would rather
that Linux was used by 3 people who truly grok it in the fullness. In
other words, the sort of person who would have crippled Linux adoption
and that Ubuntu was created specifically as a reaction against; as an
OS that was simple, easy, friendly, graphical, did what real people
actually /expect/ their PC to do, not Did The Right Thing. Not Linux,
just something easy to use and free, even when this means using *gasp*
proprietary binary drivers and so on.

The Ubuntu way, ISTM, is: make it easy, make it just work, make it simple.

That means, for mailing lists, reply-to goes to the list, and the Unix
purists can print out their RFCs to the contrary on extra-wide
music-ruled tractor-feed paper using a TTY, fold it into a
particularly spikey origami shape and shove it where the sun doesn't
shine.

HTH. HAND.
