Maybe I'm a horrible site searcher, but I didn't find any forums on their
website.

(and I've never heard of mailing lists until I got Ubuntu, whereas
practically everybody knows that a forum is)

Whatever, it's the developers choice. But I doubt they'll success in
down-defining what an "Instant Messaging client" is.
