There's a usability bug for the issues raised in the post:

The Transmission one might actually make it into Hardy. (BitTorrent is
pretty darn mainstream, and labelling Transmission as BitTorrent
should be enough for the n00b user IMO. "BitTorrent - that's how you
get telly, isn't it?")
