Two solutions to that problem presents itself:  

* Have a designated revoker (that is, another key belonging to
  somebody you trust get the ability to revoke your key).  Hopefully
  you won't both lose your key at the same time.

* Get a secure storage somewhere.  Here in Norway, at least banks
  provide boxes you can put documents in.  Put your printed revocation
  certs there together with copies of important documents such as your
  birth certificate, examination papers from university and so on.
