Have you used Fedora (recently)?

I've used every version of Ubuntu since (and starting with) Hoary and
other than it than GNOME (used by *many* distros) I see no resemblance.
The Human Metacity Theme has always been somewhat "shiny", while Fedora
8's Metacity theme ("Nodoka") has more of a chalk like appearance. The
Fedora 8 desktop background doesn't remind me of a blue version of
anything Ubuntu has ever produced for a default background.

This reminds me of discussion I was in recently on Digg[1].

I've never used an OS I didn't (dis)like.
