Unfortunately a lot of men think of this differently. It's even a bigger
problem in the geek community (think about it for a moment - your
stereotypical geek guy).

It's somehow different than discrimination based on race or religion and so
forth.

Have you ever been with a group of "typical" (geeks or otherwise) guys (no
women, just men) and heard the kind of comments they make about women?

Often times it's lewd, crude and rude.

It's no wonder Women have the problems they do in the FLOSS community (and
elsewhere).
