I never said that it wasn't a problem I merely presented what was in
my view a possible cause (or at least a contributing factor).

Are we branching off onto "Free software should be used in schools"?
I do agree that free software should be used in education. But that's
a different topic and let's not stray now (or if you want to stray
fork the thread or something).
