Unfortunately it can't be a joke, since the only chap I know with
(barely) enough knowledge to do that, is not the kind who would do that
to me, and he would be unable to know my IP address, since my ISP
changes it all the time, and with zero predictability.

It's like Rhythmbox and it's music sharing capability. When I turn it
on, sometimes RB shows me music playlists from complete strangers !
