Firefox Dilemma

Using about:config & some extensions, Firefox is actually usable.
(And yes, it would be nice if it would use the system default proxy, but
that's something that annoys a user only once.)

To make & keep(!) Epiphany more or less usable you have to edit plain
text configuration files all day (yes, I mean _every_ day, maybe several
times a day).  I have tried it for almost a year, filed bugs, and
discussed with some of their developers ("it's impossible to implement
this" blah).  I see no hope for it getting usable in the near future...

(And contrary to popular belief, Epiphany doesn't use significantly less
memory than Firefox, which was actually the reason I tried it.)
