However with top posting you don't have to read the same quoted text over
and over again, in every message sent in the thread. Mind you, with modern
clients that hide quoted text, the problem has been minimalism. Top-posting
still looks cleaner IMHO. Either way, one should follow the example of the
rest of the list when posting to that list, without caring about personal
preferences.
