I do this on my main desktop, which is a big and beefy machine.

The problem I have with it is that the menus get really padded out with
all the different apps, and one has to make a definite choice between
KDM and GDM, which can impinge on functionality (I use KDM, and can't
shutdown the computer directly from Gnome; I have to log out first).

Are many people running multiple *buntus on one machine? Finding m/any
conflicts?

I'd really like to see Ubuntu make a push and get the desktops playing
nicely with each other.

John
