Elevated Privs Notification

I find myself wanting an elevated privileges applet. The idea behind it
would be to have a very visible icon in the notification area that
appears when a user's automatic gksudo privileges are active.

The user would also be able to mouse-over the icon and find out the
remaining time before the permissions expire. They could also
right-click and expire the automatic gksudo privileges.

Would this be useful to anyone else? Implementation is non-trivial, and
will likely require a patch to sudo (to expose whether permissions are
active).
